Interim Management

There can be several reasons why a company would need an interim manager. Sometimes a consultant can be very profitable for a company. Sometimes the company needs someone for a designated period that is more connected to the company. I can provide this service. With a good analytical view and sharp business acumen, I am able to get acquainted with the company very fast and decide what to do to get the company on track again.

Before engaging the challenge, a clear set of conditions is agreed upon. Begin with the end in mind, focus on results. With a rigorous intake and analysis, a plan of approach is built and agreed upon.

The two most common reasons for hiring an interim manager are Turnaround Services or Recovery Services. I do both.

Turnaround Services

There are several phases in a company lifecycle. For every phase in a company lifecycle, there are different types of leaders that are the optimal fit. To get a company ready for the next phase, an interim manager can be a solution. With extensive experience in all phases of the company lifecycle, I know what is needed to get the company in the right shape. Six Sigma, Lean and Operational Excellence can be used to get operations and organization in the right shape and state of mind to take the company to the next level of excellence. The assignment can be concluded with the search for a successor and effective handover.

Recovery Services

Sometimes a company can get into troubled water. There are many causes, few solutions. With many situations there is a need for speed. I am able to jump on board, investigate and advice on the necessary steps to recovery. Often there can be a road to successful recovery. Recovery can be painful. Sometimes the company has to take leave of employees, partnerships or clients. These processes are performed with integrity and tact in an orderly and clinical way. Everything based on facts and figures and completely documented. After successful recovery the company is ready for the future. The assignment can be concluded with the search for a successor and effective handover.
